Shamanic Herbalism
Herbalism is the art of treating disease and physical imbalance with nature's plants, rather than with chemicals. Modern medicine is often overly harsh with many side effects, as well as being expensive and inadequate for maintenance and prevention.
What's special about shamanic herbalism is that it doesn't stop simply with plant medicines. Shamans work with the spirits of this world and others in order to make positive change in people's lives -- in the case of shamanic herbalism, usually the overarching spirit of the plants used to heal. What this means is that you will be treated with herbs, and then the spirits of those herbs will be sung into you, where they will direct the healing energy of the plant. Specific points on your body will be pressed and used as doors to let the spirits enter. I might shamanically journey inside the ecosystem of your body to find or correct energetic imbalances. Spirit-energy might be drummed into you with a healing drum, or in serious cases negative energy might be pulled out of you.

Pricing:
- Initial consultation is free, and there is no obligation to get treatment.
- Fees for treatment sessions are on a sliding scale from $20-$40. You pay what you feel you can afford.
- The cost of the herbs themselves will vary, but the average course of treatment is $10-$30.
Hours:
By appointment only, generally evenings and weekends. Sessions and consultations are approximately an hour long, but may be significantly longer or shorter depending on your needs.
